OLD TONBRIDGIANS FOOTBALL CLUB
About
The current and official Old Tonbridgians Football Club can trace their roots back to August 1999 with a pre-season friendly versus the Carthusians at Charterhouse. This was the start of the annual pre-season friendlies against the Old Carthusians and culminated in our approach to the Arthurian League during the 2002/03 season. Friendlies against Old Malvernians & Old Berkhamstedians followed, and finally we were invited to join the league in Division 1 in the 2003/04 season.
A year later in the 2004/05 season we were permitted to compete in the The Arthur Dunn Cup, our first match away to Old Haileyburians, where we very nearly went all the way beating Old Carthusians, before narrowly losing in the semis to Old Etonians who went on to do the league and cup double.
Thereafter we have been promoted to the Premier Division, won our first Arthur Dunn Cup in 2012 and achieved our own double of league and 'Dunn' in 2016. The club has successfully grown, and now runs a 2nd XI and Vets XI.
The club is most generously supported by the OT Society
